Hey there,
Welcome to the Zara's Mixtapes October newsletter. This month I was drawn to many individual songs from new releases but only a few whole albums. I found a delightfully spooky new release from punk rock band Creeper, perfect for the halloween season. CMAT dropped a new indie pop album that has turned me into a fan and Taylor Swift re-released her pop masterpiece, 1989, so overall it was another great music month.

Honorable Mentions:
Chronicles of a Diamond by Black Pumas. This month we got the second full length album from Black Pumas and it is a highly cohesive soulful jazzy funk creation. It wasn’t a total standout body of work but as a whole it is a great album to put on in the background for a soulful vibe.
1989 (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift re-released her debut pop album, 1989 this month which included five new tracks from the Taylor Swift vault all of which I think are worthy of a listen. I truly can’t get enough of all of them.
